just purchased Comptech 4-2-1 header and catback exhaust, are there any gaskets or anything that I will need to purchase, or can I use the stock gaskets. The car is a 99 GSR w/ 35,000 miles on it. Thanks again...

 

You should be fine with the stock ones. Everything you need will come with the parts.

 

stock gaskets are fine for the header. exhaust will come with gasket/s. (same thing as dls said)

 

Now I bought the header and exhaust used, can I use all the stock parts or do I need to go out and buy anything??

 

There should be a gasket/donut ring between the two parts of the header. You can reuse your stock header gasket and spray some copper sealant in there if ya want. Everything should be fine.

the header ghasket dosent cost that much. probably like $10. I would just pick a new one up cause your messing around with that area pulling off stock header. could mess up the old one. get a new one and install it when you put the header on.
