do they make hard coolant hoses?
i was wondering if any company made hard radiator hoses for the 92-95 hatch. if there is a company please let me know and give the website. thank you
Def. go with SAMCO Sport radiator hoses. Looks, strength, overall construction is very nice.
Hard rad. pipes would require welding them to the radiator and the necks off the motor.
If you dont weld them to the rad. or anywhere else they will still have silicone/ rubber clamped hoses on each ends so it kind of defeats the purpose.

Samco sport is the only way to go

I wouldn't weld it, it would break because of the vibration, there flexible like that for a reason, the radiator doesn't move the motor does. Just my opinion.

thats what I was thinking too. Someone prove me wrong if we are both thinking out of line

dont weld it, the welds will eventually crack or youll end up with a crack in the hose itself and then youll have coolant everywhere..
they need to flex.
they need to flex.

are those solid metal? they look nice but would need fexable hose to go over them to clamp down which would be perfectly fine. Otherwise I dont know how you'd get them on unless there made of rubber and just look nice.

Do they last longer or something?</TD></TR></TABLE>
The SamcoŽ Sport Hose Kits are designed to replace original equipment for a wide range of vehicles. Superb integrity and superior performance reduce the risk of component failure and that enables higher temperatures and pressures to be maintained with complete confidence.
Standard silicone hoses are not suitable for carrying fuel/oil. High temperature, fuel/oil, high pressure etc.
