okay i have a stripped out head stud hole and was wondering what i need to get from http://www.timesert.com to repair it? anyone done this before?
Looks like something derived from HeliCoil. Do a search on the internet for them. Most specialty auto places should carry them and be able to tell you what you need. HeliCoil kits usually come with a tap so you can insert the HeliCoil. I used them when I was in the military and know if they're good enough for a 4kV generator of a nuclear powered aircraft carrier, they should be good enough for a head stud.

hey its your motor use whatever your more comfortable with, I've never heard of your brand so I can't say either way. Good luck none the less.
You could also have a machine shop plug and redrill/tap the hole for you as well if you want anther option.

on your head studs, don't trust heli-coils....they won't wok wotrh a **** due to the expanding and contracting of the block and head...my friend did it, and he ended up hydro-locking the motor because he didn't have a good seal with the head gasket, and it sucked coolant into his cylinder

yea thats why i will only use time serts. they have a honda/acura head bolt kit but its 11mm x 1.50. i just need to find a place to buy a kit. can you order directly from timesert.com?
and there is no way im taking the block back out and waiting on a machine shop. it will be cheaper and less time to do this myself. ive done them before on oil pans. i just put this block in and if i want to take it out im gonna have to buy a engine hoist and stand.
