Default b16 in da

i was thinking of swapping the ls i have in my da right now for a jdm 1st gen b16. The ls in it right now is already turboed and was thinking if i should go head and do it if its worth it. running 10lbs. and do you guys think it would make it faster. going to put the b16 tranny with the swap if i do it.

this has been discussed many times on here if you care to do a search for b16 in the integra forum archives, you will find a great deal of info.

imo, due to the weight of the integra, you would be better off avoiding the b16 motor, and just swap in the b16 tranny onto the LS long block, then turbo the LS motor if you want.

werd

the stock B18 will have more torque than the stock B16 could dream of.

simply swap the b16 tranny onto your b18 and call it a day

i'd say keep the Ls motor..and if your planning on swapping trannys its gonna be quicker but not faster.....short gears...alotta torque from the turboed LS motor...might give you too much wheel spin of the launch..soo depends on you....if you have slicks then your okay.

yeah... to make a long story short i hade a 75 shot or nitrous on my ls integra for a year and a half and it basically wore it out ( knew it was gonna happen over time ) but im currently doing a b16 swap starting tomorrow and i hope all goes well.... im keepins it OBD-0 and keepin the LS trans ( i know its gonna fall out of vtec when shifting ) but i prefer the longer taller gearing cuz its still the daily driver and i will be traveling with it... why dont you slap the turbo kit on the b16 with ahead gasket??? it will smoke the ls??
