Default Wheel vibration.!

I had this problem before and It just seemed to fix it self, this was about a year ago.
Now I started to feel it again in the steering wheel between 80-100kmh, so I figured I needed new tires (wich I did) the insides were completly messed up, belts showing and whatnot, anyways, I got my new tires and now its even worse!
I dont understand, I got them re-balanced, and samething,
I felt something similar when my bearing was going, but this isnt the bearing for sure, no loud noise and it doesnt change if I turn one way or the other, so I looked under my car and saw that the boot that goes from the steering coloumn(I think thats what you would call it) to the control arm was torn and leaking all over, could that be whats causing this problem, if so, how expensive is it to replace?
Thanks

What you appear to be discribing is a torn Inner Tie Rod Boot. The damaged boot ( in itself) won't cause a vibration problem, but the worn Inner Tie Rod Joint it causes will.
Because any play in the steering mechanism will allow a Tire inbalance to develope because the slop gives the tire a change to move undampened.

I would suggest you rotate the front tires to the rear (do NOT cross them) and see if the condition changes. IE: the vibration moves to the rear.

If it does, it's tire/rim related
If it doesn't, we confirm the worn inner tie rod and look for other factors.

Hope this helps.........

sounds like u got bigger issues than just shaking when usay the boot is torn and leaking all over it tells me the p/s rack is leaking ,,, do as p_adams suggests and if the inner tie rods are loose dont replace them yet because you get new ones with the p/s rack assembly and if u do replace the rack dont get it from dealer get a nonfactory ( Maval ) they are cheap and reliable...if when rotating tires the shake is still there aside the inner and outer tie rods , i would chk all the frt suspensions for any loose or worn components ,,,,,,And if it does turn out to be just tires or rims you still a leaking p/s rack to worry about

Sorry I dont know how to post images, but I think its the boot at the end that is torn, on the passenger side..
I beleive they call it 38790 008 2 DUST SEAL, TIE ROD

Ok guys, this wheel vibration has turned in to a loud screeching noise..
Not only when I brake, or accelerate, or turn, or turn when I acclerate ect...
very randomly it will do it, I have checked my dust cover and every thing was fine, no rocks jamed in there, it wasnt bent against the rotor, nothing..
Could this be a result of my axel being messed up (wich it is and I just forgot to mention)
Or is it related to the tie rod boot being torn? Any Ideas would be a great start for me.

The rack boot is #8 like you said, but there's not supposed to be steering fluid in there. If there is, you got more problems with the rack. It's only supposed to be the inner joints (#1) which are greasy & need to be protected from dirt.

If you have fluid leaking out of there, get a new or rebuilt rack unless you know how to dismantle the hydraulic cylinder inside there.

Maybe that could be the problem, That the grease inside the boot is all thats leaking.
I havent had time to check it out yet, but it doesnt seem to be getting worse so...
Another problem just came up(shitty week) Now I got a mad loud clicking sound comin from the back passenger side..!wtf is next. I know before I was missing the butterfly clips in the calipers and it made some sound, but nothin like this...Im confused..

Just a warning, if anyone ever wants to do a TL 5 lug conversion, make sure you know why you want to do it, not just over some rims

I had this problem this winter myself. The snow and ice cracked my grease boot and when the snow melted it dried out the grease boot so that my steering wheel would go all crazy on me lol. So that is probably what your problem is. I had to get both replaced ;-;.
