i have been archiving topics on wheel bearings. idont think i have that problem.heres the symtoms of the things happening currently.
1.at slow speeds coming to a stop or turn while braking . there is a clank clank noise.almost clicking.
2. there is little vibration from the steering wheel at speeds of 70+
i need to know whether it is the ball joints. tie rods or something else.

It's hard to actually know what the problem is without actually being there to look and check it over...but i would start by checking the the axles....make sure the boots are not torn...torn boots = worn joints thus clicking on turning...also check the control arm bushings...older cars will have worn bushings...possible bushings may be so worn that you have metal parts clanking against each other...usually for ball joints you'll get a squeaking noise when turning the steering wheel Left to Right...and bad ball joints usually will clunk over bumps....hope this helps...
