hey guys...
I've been seeing some of the more hardcore cars using swirl tanks to seperate the air from the coolant. I was just wondering if there are any real benefits for street cars to use a swirl tank? I see these tanks on more domestics than imports and was wondering if they are even necessary on Hondas? Does the water pump cause aeration(sp) of the coolant at high RPMs or what?
I already searched and there were no topics on this subject...lemme know whats goin on with these

I guess you mean an expansion tank like this. http://www.moroso.com/catalog/...29029
These do help on cars with the radiator lower than the engine like Hondas.

no the one I'm talking about is a cylinder that swirls the coolant ,i think after it leaves the radiator, and has a vent on top of it to remove air from the coolant.
