i got a free AEM intake from my Honda dealer!
ok so when i got my Si (used) at the dealership it came with this ugly looking SRI, so i was like...uh ok. unfortunately the dumbasses "forgot" to change my oil when i bought the car, plus when i drove it home the check engine light came on. i went on vacation before my semester at school started...so i had my mom take the car in to the dealership.
today i went to check under the hood, and what did i see?!

they replaced my POS intake with an AEM SRI....what the hell?!
so uh..i guess it's better. i got an alarm installed today too, the ******* UNBOLTED that bracket so now the intake is kind of flopping around next to the alarm horn. meh. it doesnt make any noise in the car and i checked it out and it seemed to be fine.
anyway whatever, i got a new intake.

well, i doubt it will happen unless you buy a new car with a shitty intake that causes a CEL
(although, my mom said that when she was driving it to the dealership...the CEL turned off....so maybe it wasnt the intake)

Isn't the intake supposed to sit on top of that rubber part and not under it? What purpose does it serve under it? You could just hold it down with a screw in that case. Take that part off and mount it back on top.

it seems like it had a better fit under it, i say HAD because when they installed my alarm they took the ******* bolt off. in any case, i guess i can just grab a bolt from my garage and put it back on, i have no idea where the original bolt is...
