20* timing at 23psi on pump gas?
so i was talking to a local tuner the other day that tunes EMS like Wolf 3D, Haltech, AEM, etc.
He was tell n me that when he tunes honda's he never runs below 20* timing on high boost. he said he was running 20* total timing @ 23 psi on pump gas. i thought that the timing was rediculously high. thats about .4* retard per psi and on pump gas too!
shouldnt the timing be more conservative like around 12-13 degrees total timing (not base timing) at around the 20 psi range?

at 0 in/hg and at high rpm, the timing on motors like B18C's r around 27-28 degrees. (Base timing at idle is 16*) so hes only backing off 8* timing overall on 20 psi. thats rediculous if u tell me.
20* at high rpm @ over 20 psi on PUMP gas is just asking for trouble
