maxed out GT32E?
has anyone ever maxed out a GT32e? i am pretty sure they are rated to 520 (fly hp) but just looking for some real world numbers (and what to expect)

You must be referring to the GT3251 or 55E (which has a 4mm diameter difference in the compressor wheel). Yes. I've maxed those before. the 520hp it is rated at is a CRANK hp reading based up its max efficiency. Take an approximate 20% driveline loss into account. 520 - 20% = 416whp (I've taken it up as high as about 435whp before it was just blowing hot air)

alright, cool, just what i was lookin for,
i know the theroetical power it should make, i was just wondering if anyone had reproduced that on a honda application. With my new motor I will be looking for around 400whp on pump gas. Right around maxing the turbo out. thats probally pretty bad for the turbo, right? (moving its max amount of air all the time?)
