calling GSR into Ek owners
My question is i bought a GSR changeover on Hmotorsonline.com but the wiring given with swap will not work on my Ek the GSR harness doesnt go back into the guages like the EK harness does? any help
Thanks!!!
Thanks!!!
you probably did what I did and got the JDM GSR motor. People in japan sit on the opposite side meaning all electronics go to opposite sides of the engine bay (gauge cluster/ecu/ etc..). So you have a few options if this is the case: 1) Modify your D-series engine harness to work with the GSR motor. 2) Buy a new USDM GSR wire hareness (easiest way). 3) Splice all of the wires from the JDM harness to reach the opposite sides of the engine bay (hardest to do). Hopefully that is your problem, hth.

wrong.
gsr harness is a 2 piece haress. you need to use your oem 1 piece harness (have to wire vtec, iab, etc) or get an 96+ ex or si harness to make things easier
