question about rusty brakes
I have lots of rust that builds up on the hub of my brake rotor. I have cheap-*** X-drilled rotors that will be replaced eventually. I was wondering if anyone ever paints the hub, either with black paint or clear, to keep them from rusting over?

Hrm... rust will build up upon the surface since they are made of an iron alloy of sort. Just so long as you don't see pitting I don't think you'd have to worry. Though I'd clean it off every so often since eventually that'll make your rim stick to the hub and maybe a pain in the **** to get off.
