Default Question about wheel size and drop???

I am lowered on H&R Race springs which lower the front 2.5" and the rear 2.25" I am currently riding on 15" Si wheels.

I was wondering if I get 16" rims will there be a wheel gap?

It looks really low already - bigger wheels aren't necessary.

Though, that's just me. I like my car to look stock for the most part

depends on what tire size you're going to be running.

Yea it does depend on the tire size, but it looks like you allready have your wheels tucked and getting bigger tires is just going to make them rub. This should have went in the bling section because it has nothing to do with suspension. Your car is to low, you know its to low, i also think you know your not impressing any one. Getting some big chrome wheels wont impress any one either. Keep your rims buy better tires and raise your car an inch.

That's a very complicated question.

However, find your favorite online tire size calculator (i like the one at http://www.miata.net), and find the appropriate tire size that maintains your stock overall diameter.

and yeah, since you've tucked, i don't know what'll happen with the offset, section width, and whether this will all rub.

I can raise my car unless I get different springs or coilovers.

205/55//15 *might* rub doing hard turn or u-turn.

205/45/16 *might* rub doing hard turn or u-turn.

195/50/15 smaller than 55series so might gap there no less chance to rub

but since Race is stiff not really sure

to save wheel gap the bigger wheel you go with down size on the profile of your tire... youl ride a little shittier but not bad.

Lowered about the same with 205/40/16. No rubbing issues EVER with dunlop fm-901. Very minimal rubbing issue (U-Turns only) with BFG Euro T/A...

No gap & Ride quality is totaly fine...

I don't know what the exact offset is. Konig GT-R's have been out of production for years. Their is an identical set on eGay right now, and they have the following picture showing some casting numbers. This leads me to believe they are a +40 offset...

Yea they are +40mm offset. How stiff is your suspension? Mine is not very stiff. Do you think I will have problems with rubbing?

I have "street" friendly spring rates. GC 400f/250r with GC extended upper mounts in the front for a little extra travel. You shouldn't rub...

As you read I have H&R Race springs but they are paired with KYB AGX's. They ride is a lil bouncy.

The wheels I am getting are the same size and offset as yours. I really hope I dont have any rubbing issues. What tire brand would you recommend?

The dunlop fm-901's are great so far. I've put several thousand miles on them, and have no complaints. Like I said before, their sidewall design keeps the tire away from the fender (where my BFG's were rubbing in the rear). I'm quite sure you won't have a problem with rubbing. They do have a 200 treadwear rate, so if you need many many many miles from your tires, you may want to look at the options in the 300+ range...

Thats about all I can tell you...

How much are the dunlop fm-901's? I will probably go with those.
