Some basic questions that I was surprised not find doing a search
I currently have an obd 1 LS in my integra. I want to upgrade to a GSR. I was thinking of getting a OBD2 gsr swap, but before I pay for it I would like to know about the following questions:
1. Will a OBD1 LS wire harness plug n play into the OBD2 gsr motor? If not, which plugs must i change to make it plug and play? Only thing i know of is that the alternator and distributor have different plugs.
2. What brackets will i need or can reuse to drop the b18c1 into my LS?
3. Will a LS distributor work on an GSR head?

1. Kinda, you will have to run 3 extra wires tho (Knock Sensor, Vtec Solenoid, Vtec Oil Press) besides that everything else on the harness will work fine as long as u get an obd1 vtec ecu
2. all the motor mounts are the same, as well as say the mounting for AC, PS, ALT....
... be more specific on what brackets u are talking about if there are others
3. You can make the LS distributor work by cutting a leg off of it. search and you will find a write up i am sure as many ppl (I for one) use an LS dizzy on a vtec head. if u don't find any answers i'll take pics of mine to show u what i'm talking about
