Default Best Turbo idea

So Im going to be putting a B18c1 engine in my 89 CRX and putting full 3'' engine back exaust on it
I want a turbo settup with a frontmount intercooler, intercooler sprayer, boost controller and a b.o.v

whats the best way to aproach this? buy a kit? buy it induvidually, if so what brand do you guys think. certain turbos will work better or worse with a B18c1 so what do you guy think?

You are going to need a lot more than what you mentioned.

I would buy an upgraded fuel pump, DSM 450 injectors, convert to OBD-1 using a chipped p28 for fuel management.

What are your goals? 500 whp? 300 whp? Are forged pistons and rods going to be necessary?

There is also a forced induction forum on honda-tech. I would search through there, this topic has been covered there a bazillion times.

I am hopping to get into the high 11's low 12's I do not know what is necessary for this.
I heard that an Engine Swap, new tranny, suspension, tires, 3'' exaust, and an intercooled turbo setup would make that possible... but is there more needed?
like what ECU should I use...

its not just about how much power u are putting out, the weight of your car also plays a role in this.

WOW, you have alot of reading to do, honestly it doenst even sound like you know what your talking about. start reading about forced induction setups, how they work and whats needed. start reasing up on EMS (engine managment) there are tons of options, some are free and some are for ballers. there is tons to learn, i suggest not buying anything untill you know what you wants as in daily drier/race/track car and hp range/drivablitly. now that ive gotten that out, start reading..

I also have a b18c1 in my crx. When i got the turbo installed (garret t3/t4), we had to cut a lot of the subframe and the turbo is literally against the turbo manifold ( just to let you know) . We used the drag turbo manifold with custom piping, and the hondata s200 ecu, along with 720 cc injectors and fully built internals, i would recommend the drag turbo kit, i think with some of the other turbo manifolds in the kits like the full race turbo manifold you have to relocate the radiator. I drive this car daily. On a conservative tune at 15 psi we made over 400 whp.

you want someone to tell you how to get into the 11's? take all your money out of the bank, put it into your pocket and go to arizona. find a place called full-race. tell them you want to run 11's and they can take as much of your money as they want to. im sure you will run 11's.

I dont understand why you keep asking about the ecu. The 2nd post said to use a chipped p28. If you didnt know that was an ecu then you really should read. That along with what else he said is most of the stuff you will need. Start reading on http://www.homemadeturbo.com they have a pretty good "beginners" section. A garrett super 60 turbo will work pretty well with a b18. But mostly read what ppl have told you to read.
