Car wont start..........again!
My car cranks all day long and gets fuel but wont start. The main relay clicks as fast as the car cranks and the check engine light stays on. I have no light on my ecu and the car has no spark. Im gonna try a different main realy and see if that dont help. What do u guys think? Any help is great thanks
With a solid CEL I thought means that the ecu is dead.
check the #14 fuse alternator solenoid or something like that. Test your distributor for resistance should be around 350-700 (not sure on exact numbers) I think according to helms manual.
If a friend has the same ecu though, try swapping it in place of yours and see if it starts. If it does, get a new ecu.

That fuse is good. I was told to change that fuse by several people. So i did and it didnt change anything. I have 4 ecu's and none of them work. Tried one out of my friends working car and it dont work either. I will try testing the dizzy tonight for resistance though now that i know those numbers. Thanks. Anything else anyone can think of?
hmm..try thing..swap out the main relay with a known working one and also if your coil have never been replaced, do that also..cause one of the car that i was working on had the same starting problem and i have tried several option..and sometime it a combination of things that causes to not start..but yeah that my opinion for you to do.
The main relay is controled through its ground circuit, so if your Honda has the main ECU ground out at the thermostat housing then take it apart and clean it and put it back together, it sounds like the main ground is being tasked while cranking, the ususal sign of a dirty ground connection.
