I guess it looks like it might work, but I was just posting it because it seemed like I could get a flame war going.

I'm in no way affiliated w/ this, I'm actually thinking about getting a shortram for like 30 bucks off ebay, and droping in a K&N or putting a K&N in the stock intake minus the silencer thing.

 

but the air filter is being blocked by a alittle plastic shield, so the air is actually coming from near the radiator. i would rather just get a cai.

Why would you make a thread to start a flame war? Many people have brought this up in all seriousness and been degraded.

its a pretty pointless piece of kit in my opinion, i think some people but it to make it look like they have a front mounted intercooler. Stick with CAI or short ram.

 

Yeah - go with a CAI...don't know if you've ever seen pictures of that installed, but the "intercooler looking" thing is VERY small.......it may resemble an intercooler in the picture, but its small as hell in real life. There would also be no added effect....CAI = same thing.

 

Now I've seen it all.

that'll only work if used with that informercial tornado intake thing, an electric supercharger, and 18mm plug wires.

 

dont forget stickers !!! and lots of them !!!

 

and one of those giant wings on the back would help too......along with a coffee can muffler with one of those turbo-whistler things in it. don't forget a chip, chips add like triple the horsepower.
