tranny or brake problem?
i was on a slight hill and in neutral my car slowly creeped backwards. i pushed down the clutch and put the car in 1st to start moving forward, and then the car stopped moving, before i even started letting the clutch out! in neutral the car moves on a hill as expected, but as soon as i get into 1st it feels like i just pushed down on the brakes. and as you start to let out the clutch in 1st, it feels like the e-brake it still up (there's some resistance like the car doesn't want to move forward). is my clutch not working properly, or are my brakes grabbing excessively? and if it is the brakes, why when i'm only in gear? i have plenty of tranny fluid, a new clutch with about 1k miles on it, a lightweight flywheel installed with the new clutch, pleny of brake pad left, and what sounds like a leaking CV on my right axle, if any of that helps...
