Default Throwing a code.....

I just bought a 96 LS, drove it all the way home, and then I got a CEL...I ran a check on it and it says the #2 and 4 cylinders are misfiring...What can be causing this and how can it be fixed....

It could be several things. I have seen a Type R throw that code due to a bent or burnt valve. If the ignition timing is off it could possiably throw that code. Check you spark plugs. You need to look for signs of a lean condition or just a plain old fouled out plug. Did you over rev the car on your trip home? I.E. miss a gear or go from 3rd-2nd meaning to go from 3rd-4th?

I'm changing the wires and plugs tomorrow, hoping that will solve it....Could it have anything to do with the injectors, someone mention that could make it misfire also ???

Yes an injector could also have something to do with a misfire.
