horrible idle surges. 700--> 500 --->700
cant figure out what it is. on idle whne its warmed up
the idle surges form 700 rpm to 500 and then back up...
things ive replaced/changed
egr blockoff
dizzy cap + rotor
plugs
wires
fuel filter
chcked iacv(lookd fine, tried to clean)
chcekd pcv
checked fitv
o2 sensor (oem)
cannot find any vaccum leaks (how do i find them?)
CODE 43 , but just replaced o2 sensor!
UPDATE: Just checked FITV and there was no suction at idle
then i tried to raise idle but car stalled evrytime i unplugged iacv!

spray some carb cleaner in the area where you thinking it might be leaking that will tell you if you have a leak. you should also try and check out your Fast Idle Control which is located under your throttle body. you open one side and make sure the white plastic thing inside is tight. i hope that helps
First screw in the idle air screw a bit and see if that it fixes the surge. If it does then uscrew the idle screw and spray the inside of that hole with carb cleaner. Clean all that out there's lots of gunk in there.
Second pull the intake off so you can see the throttle butterfly and all. When the car warms up, put your finger over the lower port inside the TB. If you feel a suction your Fast Idle Thermo Valve is leaking.

Your idle is fine while the car is warming up but once it reaches operating temp, it starts to surge? I had that happen to my car when the coolant was low. Check that.

ill check the coolant in a minute
just tried soemthings
checked the fitv and it was fine.. no suction at idle.. 750 rpms or so
i treid to raise the idle by unplugging the IACV (front of intake mani right?) and the car stalls every time!!!
what do i do!

Try adjusting the idle air screw.
Seems to me the car is idling too low when the IACV is unplugged, thus it shuts down. It may be gasping for air, the IACV trys to keep the car running, possibly why the surging between 500-700.
Unscrew the idle out a few and see if it begins to level out. If that works, then take it completely out, clean it off, and spray some carb cleaner in the hole. There's a lot of gunk that can buildup in there and suffocate the idle air intake. Then adjust your idle like it's supposed to be adjusted. That means unplugging the IACV, setting the idle to 550 rpm, turn off the car, plug the IACV back in an then reset the ECU by pulling out the 10 amp fuse for 10 seconds. Put it back in, start the car, and see if it idles nicely around 800 rpm
