Huge problem, will paypal $20 to person with the solution, Car not starting, not battery not main re
Like I said in the previous post.
I have checked every ground more than 10 times now.
However.
Is it possible the ground wires inside the harness are messed up? How would I go about adding them seperately? The battery is good as well but just in case we tried another.

I posted in the other post, but just gonna repeat myself again.
After you fill up with gas, the car won't start. What's the chance of you putting in the bad/wrong gas in there? Like...Diesel gas?
Another thing you might want to check is your ignition switch. If the contact is good or not.

I would check all the wiring to the fuel pump. If its not priming anymore, and it did before you went to the gas station, I would guess that has a lot to do with your problem. Pick up a multimeter, and you can tell if the wiring is good or not very easily.

It woudl be next to impossible for him to put diesel into his car. Diesel pumps have a larger nozzle that will not fit into a gasoline vehicles filler neck. And even if he did put diesel in it, it would STILL START AND RUN. It would run great at idle and then run like shitunder any throttle at all.
The engine does not crank at all?
-Does it make a click?
If it does check your battery. If the battery is good and all the starter does is click then the windings inside of the starter are bad. Replace the starter.
The fuel pump does not prime?
-Are you positive it does notprime?
Get a volt meter and check for voltage at teh fuel pump when the key is turned to the on position. Then check to make sure the integrity of the fuel pump ground has not been disturbed. If you have good power and good ground, replace the pump.

Get a multi meter out and get to work...I still say it is a ground. Mine was, and checked it over and over, it was connected...yada yada yada...until I broke out the multimeter.

I'm confused, you said you jumped a wire from battery to starter and it didn't even crank over?
I would start there cause that for surely should make the car crank.
Ground on the starter come loose? That little female connector comes loose on me every now and again, especially if I bump it while ******* with something else.

Okay, tried a different starter. Still the same problem.
At the shell station I went to they dont have diesel. I pumped 93, I found the reciept and made sure.
I'm going to bust out the multimeter. I'm not exactly sure on how to use it. Also which grounds should I be checking?

Seems odd like everyone is saying that even if you put straight power to the starter that its still does nothing. Have you tried cranking the motor by hand? Honestly it sounds like a starter issue and or ignition switch issue. pull the lower column cover off and test to make sure the switch is throwing poer to the starter. again I would check first if the motor turns over by hand. good luck.
when you take the lower cover off the column you will see 5 large wires soldered onto the end of the ig switch cylinder. one of these wires (check your haynes or chilton) should be sending power out when the key is turned like you are starting the car.
Okay. I figured something out.
I re-grounded my starter to the chassis rather than using the current ground.
My fuel pump primed. and when I turned the key it clicked, like it wanted to start.
Could this mean my starter is gone? I'm going to take it out and bring it to autozone as they have free starter testing.

Before you pull your starter out try jump starting.... could be that from trying so many times you killed your batt. And yes your batt could power all your electrical and not start the car. If that doesnt work then try the starter.
