Default clue in newbie on terminology

I just bought a '95 civic ex coupe yesterday and am trying to educate myself a bit about it by going through these posts. There's alot of terminology I'm not familiar with. Is there a listing somewhere that covers what all of these acronyms and abbreviations mean. A few of which are:

d16*, b16*
E1J
D-SERIES
B18C
OBD1
P30, P28...
CEL

Any pointers appreciated

d16* - 1.6l sohc D series engine
b16* - 1.6l dohc B series vtec engine
D-SERIES - sohc motors [single and dual]
B18C - 1.8l B series vtec engines [gsr and itr depending on # code ie 1 or 5
OBD1 - On Board Diagnostics refering to all 92-95 Honda/Acura cars
P28... OBD1 sohc vtec ECU
CEL - Check Engine Light

I think all this is right... correct me if I'm wrong... don't know much about the SOHC motors... I allways pull 'em and swap in a B series.

yeah, I know ECU and other basic acronyms, but alot of the ones I'm seeing appear honda specific. I was hoping there was a glossary somewhere that would bring me up to speed soon. thx
