clicking almost "diesel engine" type-sound from under-hood

92 VX 3 door;

i have a strange clicking noise from the motor region. it sounds almost like a diesel motor sounds and well i thaught i might need a valve adjustment but i duno since it seems to quiet down when i press in the clutch...anyone have an idea as to what this is? i have a dynamic studio mic so it might be possible to take a sound clip if you guys are too puzzled but i'd have to bring my entire pc downstairs and outside. any help would be appreciated,

Video's, sound clips, pics say more words then people could ever. Just remember that.

Sounds like normal valves, try a valve adjustment and go from there. Worse case would be a spun rod.

well, i duno, like i said it gets quiet when i hold down the clutch...meaning tranny problems maybe? and no time to make a sound clip right now, going to work soon but i probably will later on tonight when i get home.
