edelbrock manifold problem ?
i am installing my edelbrock manifold on my 98 gsr and i have a few questoins.....
When i use my stock injectors and fuel rail, there is almost a 5/16 gap to where the fuel rail mounts... is this normal, do i need to make spacers?
Send a pic if anyone has one with the stock fuel rail

This is a pic I took of the throttle cable holder, but you can kind of see where the spacer is where it mounts up(on the bottom between the injectors). I just used the stock spacers(painted silver), but I had to go to the harware store and get longer bolts. And for the throttle cable holder, I used the stock one off of an LS IM and bent it a little and it works perfect, but I think I heard you can use one from a type-r IM and it works even better??
Did you find the spacers you needed?
We just found a similiar situation on a 2000 GSR. We are considering adding spacers and longer bolts (or studs) to the kits from now on. Are the 1998 and later fuel rails different from earlier ones?
thanks
