I have read all over this site looking for what Kind of muffler to get but i can't find it so maybe someone can help me out, i really want to order one today but can't decide. I was going to go with the ES oval but the two places that have them are out and can't get them in. I have a 2.5in custom all the way back with a Carsound high flow cat and a 14in resonator the muffler on it now is a flowmaster universal but sound is probably the worst sounding muffler i have ever heard, My question is what muffler will sound deep with out so much rasp, i was going to go with the DynoMAX turbo but i'm going boost this winter and that muffler is too restrictive, sorry for the long post but there that story, any help would be greatly appreciated.

 

If your going to boost I would (personally) go with at least 3 inch all the way back from the down pipe. You should get really fast spool and let the turbo breathe. tha's what i'm over the winter also. Good luck

 

The twin loop muffler is probably one of the best crosses between performance and sound.

Look into the Magnaflow Oval. It's basically the same thing as the ES Oval, but cheaper.
