Default Overheating

Ok here's what I've done so far. Replaced the thurmostat and rigged the fan to come on with the key. The switch is broken. I've just put in all new coolant and everything as well but she still get's damn hot. She'll heat up then cool off a bit and then heat up and cool off weather I'm in boost or not. I also checked the dipstick oil for head gasket problem and it seems clean as a whistle. I'll drain tomorrow to make sure. I'm thinking the only things left to do are to upgrade to a bigger fan and better radiator. I'm still running a stock 00 SI radiator and a pretty small slim fan, cheap deal, but now i'm running a 2.0 gsr.

Any other ideas?

Anyone know a good place for a custom radiator? Good slim fans to get that pull lots of CFM?

it sounds to me as if you have an air pocket in your coolant system someplace.

if you are looking for a custom radiator with fan i recomend going to C&R. speak with Kevin. V

Yeah I need to check for air pockets tonight. Does C&R have a website?
