Anything Else I Should While I'm Doing This?
Hey, I'm doing a tune-up on my car this week hopefully, so far I'm doing the following:
- sparkplugs
- air filter
- fuel filter
- distrubitor cap
- oil & oil filter
Anything else I should do, while I'm doing it?

Ok once u take the dizzy cap off there is a disc called the rotary button can be taken off w/ a phillips head. I transfers the spark from dizzy to cap basically to wire and so on.

^^^Everyone just calls it a rotor. Cap and rotor are most often sold together, but I have seen them sold separately.

How long has it been since you replaced the sparkplug wires? If they have white powder marks where they are touching each other or other metal parts that is an indication that they need replacement. Its called ghosting, which is basically carbon tracks when the wire insulation breaks down an leaks current (spark)before it gets to the plug.
I bought the car last year but I haven't had the chance to do in a tune up, the only thing I have done was regular oil changes and air filter. So I finally decided to do a tune up, Seafoam I've been wanted to do for such a long time, I've heard nothing but great things!

if you bought the car last year you might want to change and flush all the fluids. oil, antifreeze, transmission and brake,
inspect all brake pads
clean engine and check for oil leaks
do your regular tune up
wash and wax
your car will feel and look a whole lot better

Picked up a bottle of Seafoam. :D It should be safe on a 114,000km engine '9 hatch? I'm also planning doing a tune up on my '96 as well but that has 188,000km.
