well i was driving my car today an then it just die, so i taught i ran out of gas becuase my gas meter dont work, so we put 2 buck in gas tank an then it stated up an then it dies, then my dad came to tow the car home then he says started up an then it started up again a ran for about a min an then it dies again. So i taught it was the fuel fliter. So i was disconnecting the fuel line an then i heard air coming out out of the fuel fliter, so i taught that was it but it wasnt because i was getting fuel in the lines so I put the lines together an then started it up an it ran for about 20 mins then dies again, So i kill it an then went in the house to get something to eat an then came back to started it an it wouldnt start but it acting it wantes to but it actes like the not gas getting to motor either an the fuel pump kick on everytime too, So what could it be i really neeed help on this becuase it is weird

 

could be your igniter in the distrubutor. there was a recall on them because after the car heats up, it dies then it keeps dieing till they thing cools again.

 

i have a brand new distributor an cap an rotor bug too an i just went outside to started it up an started just fine i guess that it

well it doing it again i dont know what it is i guess sunday is not my day at all an now it wont start at all an i think it it the main relay an i dont know where that is at. im getting gas an fuel pump kick on an im getting spark too. so what could it be. an the motor is a 1.5 with nothing done to it stock

 

the main relay is a little grey box next to your hood latch..

 

how do i know if it still good an can i get a pic of it toobecause i cant find it at all
