Best turbo to run on a DD GSR?
I have an EK with a GSR, and after talking with a few people, some reccomended a t3/t04e 57 trim/.63 ar(precision sc34 or a garrett).. but then others said no, because of lag (full boost at 5300~)
It made sense, because my car barelly sees 5k on a daily basis..
Anyone have any other suggestions? I was shooting for 280whp~

I have that same turbo on a gsr motor. Running 9 pounds I see full boost at just under 4k. 252whp hondata stage 2 on a mustang dyno. The turbo does have some lag but with a real nice street tune its smooth.
on my daily driven gsr.....i am currently running a garret/avo gt28r...it would be insane for a street/daily driven setup....if it didnt have an internal wastegate...
depends on how deep your pockets are...in a daily driven scenario...a ball-bearing turbo would benefit you...but they are pricey
gt28rs w/ .82 t3 housing....should be perfect.

Yes! get the gt28rs! worth every penny. i have one on my lsvtec and i hit 10lbs by like 3400, 5psi at like 3200.
PM me and i'll hook you up i can get these turbos direct for way less than retail

how much better is this gt28rs compared to a sc34 or an sc50?
(dont forget.. im a newb when it comes to turbos.. im still learning what all the numbers mean)

that turbo is a good match. if you dont intend to go bigger in the future u can get something smaller. But that turbo is good up to about 400hp so you have some room to play. The lag isnt too bad and its a good turbo for the street unless u get a ball bearing one
