well i just got my msd ignition wired up now i dont have any room to mount it by my batt. does anyone have pics on where they mounted theirs?

 

i dont have a pic but usually what ive seen is it mounted on the firewall

Generally the closer the better because it the short the distance the spark has to travel, but even knowing that I gave up and with the same product to work with I mounted mine over by the pulley side of the motor.then used vaccum caps to cover the terminals on the coil. To attemp to keep water and corrosion out,seems to have workedvery well so far, and the ignition performance after changing out plugs and wires is great!
