Spoon cams are relatively mild, designed to produce more power w/out affecting the motor's longevity.
They're a fine thing to use, sure, but with any modification like this you will not be able to leave the motor "all stock" and get the most out of it. For example, without a good computer you are not going to know exactly how to dial the cams. Spoon can give you a basic guideline, but every motor's slightly different.
My ITR is over 190 Dynojet wheel horses, and I'm still on the OEM cams.
IMHO, you would want to do other things before you switch cams. If the cams are being made available to you at a good price, then it wouldn't hurt to pick them up and store them until you're ready to use them the "right" way.

I agree. A quality header and some sort of intake modification would be two things I'd suggest looking into first.

im sorry, i shouldn't put there stock in fact i already have an ITR jdm 4-1 headers, k&n intake, and an full tanabe exhaust. im using right now a CTR cams with cam gears. no ecu modifications yet. the spoon cams were being offered to me at a very good price. what you think? or should i just spend it on tuning, im planning to do tuning by chrome or uberdata.

There are better headers on the market. Money can be better spent on other modifications than those cams. Look in the All motor forum if you're wanting hp and they'll help you get started. I would keep the CTR cams and get some sort of engine management like the one in my sig.

If you're being offered an exceptional deal on the cams, it might not be a bad idea to pick them up. Combining them with proper tuning via Uberdata or a similar system should provide you with decent gains and a nice power curve.

If the price is a very good one and you are sure of the authenticity of the product, then maybe you should go ahead and buy them, but hang onto them until you can afford tuning them.
