Default installed ebay cold air intake, but engine light is on

me and my friend installed ebay short ram today on his civic, everything was good but when we turn on the engine after installing it, there was a engine light on. what cuold be the problem? it seemed like everything was ok

My only guess would be that maf sensor isn't connected? Try reseting the ecu?

Recheck everything, making sure all the wires are connected where they need to be. Reset the ecu. Incase you dont know to reset the ecu, start the car and let it idle for 15 minutes, dont touch the gas or anything, just let it chill.

Yeah - double check your MAF Sensor to make sure it is connected - I had the same thing happen when I installed my V2 then realized I forgot to reconnect it - the light shut off a few minutes later.

i bet he forgot the plug the IAT - intake temp sensor back on.

I'm pretty sure that RSX's don't have MAF sensors...

It's usually due to Intake Temp. Sensor. Reconnect it to the tubing and then reset your ecu by unplugging your battery and then plugging it back in.

yeh i unplugged something from the BOX that had the filter
is that what you guys are talking about? if that is, then how do i reconnect it , because i took out the filter box. again thx for all the replys !!!

that's one of the things, thers also another that goes into the stock tubing
