Default Catback...

I am looking for a good catback system but i dont want to throw down 400 bucks for one. i was looking at the N1 and i can find it for pretty cheap, but it's just so damn big and loud. I want something along the lines of the wsII, but like i said, i dont want to pay alot of money. Can any one help me?

Cheaper way by a little is to get a WSII muffler and get custom pipings done.

Also, i was reading something about the WSII and some one said that with a cold air intake you wont be able to hear the exhaust at all. Does any one know one way or the other? I want to be able to hear my exhaust but I dont want it to be annoying.

http://www.performancepeddler.com. Get a magnaflow stainless oval muffler, get an Arvin Volt resonator (14-18"), and go to a muffler shop to get a custom system. Or they just make a magnaflow kit for under 400 shipped.

Really, dont skimp on your exhaust. You get rust if you dont use stainless, raspy without proper muffler/resonator combo, etc.

How does the MagnaFlow compare to the Flow Master? Both sound and quality? I know FLow Master is a popular choice for trucks. and SUV's but how are they on a smaller car? As of now i seem to be leaning towards the Magnaflow.

Polishing job was show quality, and the fit was a first shot installation and it lined up exactly where it was supposed to. (bumper centered and no more than 1/2 inch space between tip and bumper.
Outside the car, at idle it's just slightly louder that stock (deeper note 'cuz of the resonator). When you get on it, you will know it (although not as loud as some of the rice CR...P thats around. On the highway... turn up the radio!
After 4 months, nothings moved, the carwash still makes it shine and the sound packing is still intact. I'm happy with it.

I can't speak to Flowmaster, mines' a Magnaflow

if your exhaust is quiet, your intake will be louder. i have an RS*R exmag, and i love it. intake is louder untill the vtec crossover, which really doesnt make any sense, but it does.

I have a cold air intake and a non v-tec engine. I heard a sound clip of the flow master on a CR-X and it didnt sound that bad. But i guess it could be misleading...I just want to be able to hear my exhaust without it sounding like a coffee can. I guess I'll just keep looking around.
