there's a chance i might be picking up this car:

i'm gonna have to give back the greedy e-manage..and i'll be stuck with the p28..i dont know if its virgin or not.
i know absolutely nothing about tuning. i'm going to be pretty low on funds if i pick it up, but i dont want the car grenading on me. what would be the best route to go given the setup?
thanks a lot

just so you know, that guy has the turbo oil feed line in the wrong spot, the only time oil will come out of that hole is when vtec is enguaged. most likely the turbo is gonna be shot on that car..

really? this is interested..for the record i dont really know anything about forced induction.
i'm not buying it..i'd be trading it for mercedes..in which if worse came to worse it'd be easier sellin the teg than my car obviously.

Since that's my car, I care to comment
I know that's not where it goes, I put there to test for a problem I was having. my car is producing way too much oil pressure and I was getting alot of smoke. so I just stuck my turbo feed line there because it still gets some oil pressure, but because the oil pressure it substantially lower than at the back of the block, I would be able to tell if it was the turbo needing to be broken in that was producing the smoke, or the car was burning oil somewhere else.
It worked, because after switching the line there, the smoking stopped, so the turbo just needs to be broken in.
thanks anyway, big guy... btw, the car has only been driven for 120 miles, and was never driven with the oil line there.

here's a hint... unless u really know the owner, dont buy a pre-turboed car. i'll give u a good example...
back in 01 i turboed my civic and raced around for a couple months with it. lost my job so i had to sell it. i sold it for 5k. at the time it was running open downpipe and smoking a lil blue smoke. the guy that bought my car emailed me a week later telling me he took the car to a shop to get it checked out and it ended up needing all new piston rings and the turbo was shot.
