I am looking to buy a 2000 GSR with 69K miles on it. The car has only been turbocharged for the past 10K miles. Everything should be okay with this car correct? He has always ran stock 8 PSI boost on the motor, and never really took it WOT full boost that often. Another thing I saw, and he explained, his A/F ratio guage would work when under boost or normal driving, but when down to an idle, he explained since he didnt have a wideband O^2 sensor, his guage would just bounce around. He hasnt had the car tuned so it runs on the lean side. He explained that since it runs lean when at full boost it will start to feel hesitant. The fuel management is 2 added injectors, along with a V-FAC in the car.

Hes selling for $9500. Does the deal sound legit?

PS He also has a catback exhast on it, and a stage 2 clutch. everthing else is stock.

 

Sounds pretty decent to me. The A/F Guage he're reading is proabably the Autometer "christmas ornament". It wouldn't do him any good to use that anyway. Even with the V-AFC, and MF2 AIC, you should be fine with the setup
