Eibach Coilovers
i just bought the Eibach sportline coilovers. do i need to buy aftermarket shocks with it? i heard that you need shocks only when you have lowering springs. i also heard that the proline can use stock shocks and the sportline needs aftermarket shocks.

also...if you lower your car 2 inches with the eibach sportline springs, and then put a body kit on it...will it be too low? will i scrape everywhere i go?

Yes, it will. I'm stock and lowered 1.8 in and I hit things if i'm not careful. I have a friend whos accord is lowered AND he has a kit (well not anymore) and he'd have to basically IDLE up driveways and things. I almost hit him about 3 times because I wasnt expecting a dead stop. His bumpers were also scraped up and chipped on the bottom.
If you want to keep the daily driveability, lower it 2" without a kit. A kit will just look bad in general and deteriorate over time.

KYB AGXs are good, but if you can afford to get a set of Koni yellows get them instead.

Ihave tokico illuminas and no complaints here. 5 way adjustable, very nice. They dont make KYB AGX's for 98-02 Accords, but i'd also recommend those.
Koni's are nice, they have the adjustable perch, but I believe they're only 3 way adjustable.
It's up to your personal preference, however i'd only go with Illumina's, AGX's, or Konis.
The normal KYB and Tokico shocks won't beable to handle the lowering springs.
