I have 4 door rear outer handles off a 92-95 civic and I'm trying to get them to work properly. The trouble is when I unlock/lock the door with power either from door switch or with alarm it messes with the lock it won't unlock and neither handle works (of course cause it's locked still). I must then take the outside handle off then the lock works fine. If I only unlock/lock manually then the handles work fine. I'm using the rod that comes with the hatch do I need the 4 door rod to make this work properly? It seems like its binding slightly but I can't tell where the issue is. I have tried adjusting the length of the rod with no success. I have already searched for info on this topic. Has anyone done this mod with success?
