AVIC or flip out screens

AVIC or flip out screens
I dont have a s2k yet. But I am soon going to get one. I have a AVIC lying around from my old car and I wanted to install it into the s2k. Does anyone have one installed or any type of flip out screens? From the looks to me it looks like the screen will hit part of the dash while flipping out. Anyone care to chime in?

flipout screen will not work in the S.. unless you cut and custom mount it in the dash.... the screen will hit the airvents above the headunit... also even if you're in the back gears.. 2/4/6/R ... the screen will not have enough room to come all the way out and flip up...

thats obviously a custom job... .... and it's slanted just enough to clear the shift ****.... now have fun while shifting hard into 3rd or 5th and putting a fist right though the screen... lol...

flip out players like that really belong in SUV's and what not, not sports cars (especially roadsters), but if you like it, do it and be different
