IF the shocks on there now aren't already blown, you'll be able to drive for a little while before they do blow, but don't expect to make it to 200k. With that many miles it's possible that the shocks on there now are already junk, so if you're going through the time and effort to put on new springs I would just buy some cheap shocks like kyb gr-2s or something

To sum it up, it's the most horrible ride you've ever been in.

its not always the worst, if you have one blown shock you can't always tell THAT big of a difference. A good way to tell is to just bounce one end up and down while parked, and really get it going, then let off and if it bounces more than 1-2 times after that you probably have a blown shock in that end. Fluid leaking is also a good giveaway but sometimes all the fluid is gone and you can't see that when you check

i am planning on getting Eibach Sportlines in the VERY near future for my '95 Civic coupe (around 113k mi. 17in. rims), and i am also wondering if i'd be ok with using them with the stock shocks. (i'm tight with my $ and shocks are pretty pricey)

i'm a little concered about the front end of my car, because it's about an inch & a quarter lower than the back...is that stock? i'm thinking it's due to weight of the motor, my ride isn't bouncy, but could my front shocks be blown? ANY help/suggestions would be much appreciated.

EDIT: it's a daily driver that isn't driven very hard. never race(d).
