car: 1989 civic si with B swap
about 2300lbs
suspension: Tokico's with Ground control 400F 300R
Rims 15"
Need 195/50/15
summer tire only.
20% highway
80% twisty roads
25% rain on average
I'd like it to last for a bit longer. So I'm thinking Yokohama's Es100
Any ideas if this is a good choice?
TIA

Yes, the ES100 is a very good choice, $59/tire in 195/50-15. Other, competing tires that are similar to the ES100 and worth considering include the Kumho Ecsta SPT ($58/tire) and the Fuzion ZRi ($51/tire). If you wanted to pay a bit more for better performance, the Goodyear F1 GS-D3 is $89/tire in that size and is one of the very best street tires on the market now.
These prices are from the Tire Rack in U.S. dollars. For whatever reason, tires seem to be a lot more expensive in Canada (even after the currency conversion), so you'll want to check prices.

that's the big problem. They are 2X the price in canada and I don't think tirerack ships them to canada, as the toll free # doesn't work in canada.
