Yesterday I broke the belt on my vortech b18b Integra. Dont really know what the cause is, but from what I've heard these belts have a tendancy of breaking for no reason, is that right?

I've bought a new belt, along with a new power steering belt, cause I think the s/c belt got stuck in the p/s and snapped the belt in 2.
Therefor I dont plan on putting back p/s, but would like to know if this problem happened to someone else on here?

And if somebody would have good advice to give me on what good of happened. (other the going turbo lol)

anyone has a part number for the s/c belt?

hey this isnt related to your post, but i just recently purchased the vortech s/c kit for my car b18b, i got a smokin deal on it throught ebay $1950 shipped, anyways, what kinda numbers are you getting from you set up? what other mods do you have? do you have the aftercooler?, have you had it dyno-tuned? i appreciate your input, i would just like to know what to expect before i install it, oh yea one more thing, did you install it your self? if so how long did it take?

I just got the kit as well.
Torque is very nice, I use to drive a ITR, and my 94 LS s/c is much faster then the R. I have the aftercooler, DC Spec R header and a2.5" custom exhaust with a magnaflow muffler.

It came with my car...the guy installed it 3000 miles ago, cost him 5000$ cdn and took him a week end to install it.

dont have any numberts yet, hopefully 220 at the crank.
