Default understeer help

i just started modifying/upgrading my suspension for the rsx.

going around turns and corners it's obvious a ff car will understeer.

i have installed coilovers on all four corners, and my next modification will be a rear sway bar. stiffening up the rear will probably help with the understeer, but what else can i do to improve the handling characteristics of this car?

thanks!

Use search, there is a plethora of handling information both in AX/RR and the Suspension forum.

Assuming that this is for a race setup and not a street/touge setup...

The best way to reduce understeer is to take a driving school. Learning to look ahead and pick a line will greatly reduce understeer. If you early apex, you will understeer.

That said, coilovers and a bigger rear swaybar will reduce understeer.

Also a little bit of toe out helps - like 1/16-1/8 toe out front and rear.

Set rear shocks to full stiff and fronts to full soft.
