I have a 96 cx and i am swaping in my boosted motor out of my 00 si. well on problem is that there is and extra plud on the inside of the si that i do not have on the cx. Car will not function without this plug...

In the 1st pic i have circled the plug that is on the si and not on the cx... what is this


and in this pic you can see what it looks like in the cx, only has the one green plug




so i guess the question is what is my easiest way out of this

 

A 96-98 harness is different from a 99-00 harness. What you can do is buy a 96-98 ex harness with the vtec wiring or convert your 96 harness. The 00 harness will not fit. You will also have to get a conversion harness to run your 00si ecu or a obd1 chipped ecu, depending on which one you have.
