question on the cruise control on my 00 Si

Default question on the cruise control on my 00 Si

ive never had cruise control before but from wat i was told in a previous post to turn it on while driving hasn't worked. i checked the fuse for it and its fine, wat else can i check even if someone could scan pages from the owners manual and send them to me i would appreciate it greatly.

How fast are you driving when you turn it on? I don't think it works below 50 mph or something like that.

Also make sure the cable is connected to the gas pedal..

just making sure:

you pressed the 'cruise' button, then at a decent speed (>30mph) pressed the set/acel button on the wheel?

I'm not trying to say you didn't do this, but i'm just making sure, some people try to set the cruise by just simply pressing the 'cruise' button

yea ive done this at like 60 mpg, in 5th gear foot no where near the clutch. i press the cruise button the lil green light comes on, on the button then i press the set button but nothin happens. am i suppossed to hold it down till somethin comes on the dash or what. sry for the stupidity this is my first time workin cruise control.

Sounds like your doing everything correctly. Maybe your cc isn't hooked up right.

if you dont use it for a while it gets all funny and works at certain times, mine did then i took it out. If you need another cruise control i have one for a very small price.

also check to see if you have ne vac leaks
