idle problems...help please??

im idleling at 1500, and i know thats a little to high. can anybody tell me wats wrong wit it?it seems everytime i start my car its normal at first, then about a second after it jumps up to 1500 w/the (CEL) goin on.

Have you tried checking what code the ECU is throwing?

What is the condition of your IACV and TPS sensor?

its throwin a code of 3 flashes, which i think is a map sensor which i dont have.and the IACV and TPS sensor i dont really know how to check those stuff..
