Default Blowing into throttle with JRSC?

Im building my own supercharged engine using the Eaton supercharger (the same type as the JRSC)
Ive been told that I will need to relocate the throttle to before the SC.
Is it possable to leave it where it is and blow into the throttle.
Obviously this wouldnt would alone as when the throttle is shut the buildup of pressure would break somthing.
But if you put a bypass valve inbetween the SC outlet and throttle that opened when the manifold pressure was negative would this work?

Thanks
Alex

yeah that would work, and has been done before. But why a custom blower kit, its much easier to do a small turbo setup that will give you a very similar power curve as a roots blower. But to each his own, good luck

Its hard to get parts over here and I got this charger for only $350 with only delivery miles on it.
I like turbos aswell but am trying to keep costs down as much as possable so will stick to this unit for now.
Yeah I thought the bypass would work.
Thanks

i personally think it would be les efficient. think about it. placing the throttle body pre-blower means that its pulling in cool dense air (bare with me here) and if you place it after the blower you are trying to force that same mass of air only its been heated drastically and is therefore denser. so theoretically placing it before the blower would be more efficient, not to mention easier

I cant see it making much difference, either way the air will have to go through the charger and be heated. I guess I'll have to test them both out and see which is best. I just dont like the idea of running the supercharger together with intercooler and all associated boost pipes behind the throttle.

try this, blow out of your mouth into the air, then blow out of your mouth through a straw...

the air through the straw is the heated air trying to be forced through the throttle body, without is the hot air through the intake manifold

Ahhh...... Yeah....... I get what you mean

Could get rid of most of the restriction in the throttle body but that is probably more work than moving the throttle body to the charger inlet.

Yeah I get what you mean.

Thanks

eaton superchargers like big throttle bodies, so get a big tb, put it before the charger and just make a big plenum to attach it to the head and hold the intercooler.. done
