what is the difference between a 90-91 b18a clutch and a 92+ b18 clutch?
I mean difference between the actual clutch/pressure plate. I'm aware that one is cable and one is hydro. Is there a physical difference between the flywheels too? Would it be possible to use a 92+ clutch on a 90-91 engine? If not, how come?

actually all the 90-93 b18a's were cable. There is a difference in the # of spline/dia between the 90/91 and 92/93 shaft and goes the same for the disks but i have interchanged the pressure plates, theyre the same. To answer ur other question you could use a 92 clutch on a 90/91 engine as long as you use a 92/93 tranny. Or you could use the jdm b16 cable tranny with the 90/91 LS disk. hope this helps
