went for a beat run everything was fine right after the swap. car shifts fine when the car is off. start the car press down the clutch and it wont go in gear no matter how hard you try. master cylinder and slave cylinder are fine and the, clutch was replaced a few months ago. i was thinking it was the clutch. any input

 

Pressure plate maybe?

 

you are right, its definetly the clutch. the clutch is either not disengaging, or, not disengaging all the way. put it in gear, then try to start. make sure the travel of the clutch is 100%. But yea, you are in the right direction.

yeah it sucks i just did an h22 swap. its been in for a day. now i got to pull it out .

 

hopefully your clutch is not mess-up. Happened to mine, but the clutch springs was torn apart rubbed against the flywheel. had to resurface flywheel

 

Yup, sounds like a warped clutch disk to me. I had the same problem.

I took it to a local shop, he lied to me, ripped me off, and then denied responsibility. It turned out to be a bad clutch disk.

 

Clutch springs are probably broken.

my clutch or flywheel had come loose and bent at each other like so /\ and were stuck together, so no matter what i couldnt change gears, if i had to move the car i started the car in first and when i got it where i needed i turned teh car off to stop....
