Default What clutch do u recommend for 700+whp 500+wtq

Ive been viewing the board for a while now, finally got the car back up and running and blew the clutch on the dyno car is 85mm lsvtec. I know im going to need twin disc, just not too many people in my area to ask about them so i figured to see what everyone on here had to say. Thanks for your time

John

Awesome, thanks man. I keep bouncing back between competion twin disc and the tilton. I got a chance to get a awesome deal on the comp clutch....would u pass it up and get the tilton or get the comp clutch?

What about Exedy twin disc?? That is not bad either.

Just give you another choice.

WE have had good luck with clutch masters, comp, and tilton..never used exedy. So cant speak for it. But I would recommend tilton just for the power the car makes.

My friend Lenny sells the Exedy and all his customers love it. Plus another one has it on his Evo and loves it so I was only offering another suggestion.

Me too. I was kinda torn between the Tilton and the Exedy when I needed to upgrade. From what Ive found in research is that the Exedy will probably last a little longer if the car will see street duty, and also may be a little cheaper to rebuild. Unfortunately exedy does not offer the hydro t.o. bearing, but I dont mind since a stocker is working well for me.
