questions about cats

for obd2 cats where is the bung for the o2 sensor? is it up front of the cat or in the back of the cat? like close to the the 2 bolt side or teh 3 bolt side??

on my factory obd2 gsr exhaust (1997 to be more specific), there were 2 o2 sensors on the cat: one up front and one in the back. hope this helps

im trying to figure out if my cat will pass smog for an obd2 vehicle.. cuz the one i have the bung is up front.

My 01 LS had it in the back of the cat (3 bolt side).
